This cracked me up so I had to post part of the article from the new site cy added:
KNOW YOUR ROLE
If you are one of the less hardy of the races/professions you CLEARLY do not want a MOB attacking you, period. You ALSO do not want to use a lot of special moves that reduce your Health. This means a HEALER will have to come to you and heal you, this means less heals for someone who needs them because they are under attack, which also costs the medic time to go to and from both targets. This is especially true of rifle users who like to set up a good ways apart from the group. I don't care what you do solo, that is you SOLO. Solo it is ALL ABOUT YOU, in a group it is NOT about you it is about US, so adjust your tactics NOW to avoid problems later.
Tanks have LOW Mind pools, so don't drain them. Also don't (for the love of God) ignore the advantages of head protection. You need to be on your feet, not incapacitated. DO whatever you can to reduce anything that negatively impacts your Mind pool. Also TANKS: TAUNT, pay attention to AGGRO, and if your healer is getting beat dow, try to help them. In an ideal group you will have a back up "tank", have that person READY to work that TAUNT magic to get the monster off the healer. TANKS and other players often forget, without a healer in a group you very well may be toast; you have value, and so do they. DO your part, so they can do theirs. Also it helps for a tank to build up a good relationship with their healers, this guy is going to be on /follow all night healing your butt. It doesn't hurt to tell them good job, it also doesn't hurt for you to tell them when you think they are slacking off a bit either directly or through the group leader.
Healer types need to share responsibility wisely. If you have TWO tanks and you have TWO healers, assign one to each, communicate with the other healer and plan on whom is going to do what and when. If you are healing a person and are out of stimpacks (poor planning) CALL IT OUT immediately, don't wait. If you are low on MIND and the other healer is just using special attacks tell him he needs to "peace out" (click on peace so you can heal faster) to clear their "queue" and take over for you. Now you might say, "That other healer should know what is going on, MY MIND POOL ISN'T HIDDEN, it is ON THEIR SCREEN THEY SHOULD ALREADY KNOW!" Well, yes, you are right and if they continually miss things such as this send them a friendly tell to point it out, or get your group leader to do so. Remember there are in FACT people behind these characters maybe they just don't have the experience you do, there is no need to disrespect them. Try to help them out, it in turns helps YOU and more importantly the group.
DON'T RUN, UNLESS YOU ARE TOLD TO
People have a tendency to panic a little when they get attacked by one of the larger creatures and then start running around to try and shake the MOB off them or to get themselves some space, this is only natural. Doing so however can lead to very bad things:
